So I am setting up a rewards shoppe to get a real site economy going & I noticed the lottery system says it's being deprecated/removed eventually? I was just curious why & if there was going to be any kind of replacement for that sort of thing.

Since it's integrated with the IB Store, it's a really useful feature.

So, I've done some searching on this & saw someone say "it's easy to target & remove the comma before the topic title description with JS" but they didn't say how & I'm really honestly a neophyte of JS so I just can't figure it out...

If I want to remove the comma before the description under a topic title, how would I do it?

You know...

That annoying comma.

So I'm using a custom profile field that allows members to basically sort themselves upon registration. The way it works is the field is entered into the containing div as an ID number that lets people register as either a protagonist or Author. Then the field goes into the html templates for post view, miniprofile, & profiles.

What shows for the profile depends entirely on the div name & while it works perfectly for my profiles...suddenly it's doing something very strange in the Post view & HTML templates? It's adding a return(Enter strike) in after the field? It's causing the HTML to break & frustrating the everliving heck out of me because all I want to do is hide one quote field to show another depending on which was chosen? The field is a drop down, the options are:

& the code being used currently is;
<div class="posttop"><span id="<!-- |field_24| -->">
 <div class="postname"><!-- |name| -->
  <div class="posttitle"><span class="posttit">-<!-- |field_9| --></span><span class="postquote">"<!-- |field_3| -->"</span></div>
 <div class="postavi"><script> if(!parseInt("<!-- |g_id| -->") || "<!-- |avatar| -->" == "") { document.write("<img src=''>"); } else { document.write("<!-- |avatar| -->"); }</script></div>

BUT when input, it does this if I inspect?

WHY is this happening???

Edit- I'm working around this, so I am not super bothered, but it'd be nice to know why this is happening.

Hi, so I've opted to use the default Personal Photo for optional gifs in people's profiles on my site. Assuming it was a global attribute, I wanted to also utilize that factor to set a default in case someone opted not to use it. Problem being, if I plug it in as so the same way as I do for avatars;
<script> if(!parseInt("<!-- |g_id| -->") || "<!-- |photo| --> " == "") { document.write("<img src=''>"); } else { document.write("<!-- |photo| --> "); }</script>

It refuses to show either the gif OR the replacement, despite the fact that inspect element shows the url is there; as such:

Is there something I'm doing wrong that it's not even picking up the image here?

So here I am again, with another really un-important quality of life suggestion because I'm terrible like that & have another stupid one like every couple months.

Anyways, I love the alert system & the ability to subscribe to threads means getting to my posts all in one place automatically is incredibly easy. It would almost be perfect...but for one thing; I post back to people in the order that I owe them chronologically.

Which means, right now, I have to scan the entire list (It's over 30 threads) to mentally sort them & almost always get a couple wrong which murders my OCD.

It's not some huge deal but I haven't seen anyone recommend this; Is it possible to have a sort by dropdown in your subscribed topics UCP page so you can sort them by name, date, etc?

It would be a huge time & frustration saver for me, & judging from the reaction I got on my site mentioning it, for a lot of other people, too!
