 Tableborder around last 10 posts in editor [SOLVED]
#
While working on my latest skin, I once again ran into a problem with the .tableborder class being used for way too many separate elements of the skin. As you can see in this screenshot, my goal is to have a white background, a transparent border and a white outline around the posting form and the bit below with the last 10 posts. I could do that with .tableborder, but that would mess up my post row, which I want to keep transparent and borderless like this. The recent addition of #posting-form helps a ton, but is there any way to add a similar div around the last 10 posts bit? It would be great to be able to style that bit separately.

If I understand what you're saying correctly, then that instance of the class you're talking about also has an ID associated with it, which is lucky for us if I'm right about the issue you're explaining, because it means you can uniquely target it super easily, as such:

#recent-topics.tableborder {CSS HERE}

If you need help accomplishing what you're after or want a more in-depth explanation, please link to a live version of this issue and let me know how exactly you're looking to change it.

Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately that's not what I meant at all. I can link you to the forum, but since it only shows up while editing or replying, it wouldn't be all that helpful. I'll change my settings so you can try replying to this post and see for yourself.

As shown in the first screenshot I posted, the bit I'm trying to style currently doesn't have an ID associated with it. When editing a post or replying to one, you are shown the last ten posts in that topic and that whole section has nothing associated to it.

I gave the section that sums up the latest posts an ID.

#topic-summary, you should be able to target it now.

Sorry about that confusion - but I'm stoked to see that new ID, though!
