I just finished up a skin, and while I was able to target the #CODE boxes perfectly with javascript (to style and also to have a 'select code' button), I was wondering if there was a way to style more of the quotes?

Specifically, this area:

Would it be possible to wrap that in a span or something to make it style-able? It seems like an easy fix to me, but I don't know. The backend code might not allow it.

I'm trying to figure this out, but nothing seems to be working, so I'm hoping someone else can help me out.

this is the part i want to move. i know it can be modified by editing the width of the #innerwrapper id, but the way the wrappers are set up, if i mess with the innerwrapper id, it mucks up the whole thing.

I've gotten it to almost work by setting #wrapper to 100vw, and the #innerwrapper to 50vw, but when I try to center the inner wrapper, it moves the whole index over, and I can't shimmy it back over to the edge of the screen.

The test site is here. I'm helping out someone and I've tried everything I can think of to move it.

(Yes, I know CFS is bad, but I'm helping this person migrate them to HTML templates, as well.)

The topic options and add reply/new topic buttons on the topic view are too wide as well.

Alright, I'm going to try and explain this as best I can.

So, I'm creating an HTML Template for the index of my board (located here)

The Template itself is located here. (I prefer to work in an environment like this so I don't have to refresh a million times to see my changes because i'm a perfectionist SORRY)

ANYWAY. What I'm looking to do is have the background colour behind the 'FORUM NAME' bit be the new post/no new post macro, basically have it be the blue it is in the top one be the 'new', and the grey in the second one be 'no new'.

I'm just not quite sure how to approach actually implementing it into the HTML templates. I'm sure it can be done, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it? I've got a few ideas on how to tinker with it, and I'm going to work on implementing this either tonight or tomorrow on the board itself, but I was hoping there was an easy way to kind of go about this so I'm not ripping out my hair.

Nooooot sure if this belongs here, but I usually have pretty good luck here. Would it be possible to make a class for the forum name on the main index of the board? It would be so much easier than trying to style just the .row4 b a and then having to hack around changing it wherever else it shows up. (I think the Posted: link in posts has the same ... class(?) order?)

I know we can do it easily with HTML templates, but I'm making a skin for a site that doesn't use them and doesn't want to use them, currently. If not, no big deal. Thanks!

So, I know you can change the background colour of the advertisement container by styling row4, but I was wondering, since John is constantly adding new CSS classes to work with the HTML templates, if one could be made for the ad container? Or if the row4 could just be removed from it so it's a teeny tiny little advertisement that can just sit there and look ugly all on its own until I decide to buck up and pay for premium?

I'm currently working on a skin where the row4 background colour would clash with the board header area, and I just want it to be seamless and beautiful and it's not and my OCD is making me cry ):

I'm sure javascript could do something to change it but I literally do not want to a.) deal w/ that or b.) violate ToS for ~aesthetics.
