this is not a big deal at all if there's no workable solution.

i've found that when using emojis like , upon 'quick editing' the post, it breaks the emoji, so you have to full edit in order to edit the post.

is there any way to circumvent this ?

this might already be a thing and i just can't find the proper documentation. i saw some older posts about categories / forums having their own RSS feed links, and was wondering whether it was still a feature ?

this is like a weirdly specific issue that really isn't a big deal at all lmao.

but i've found with applying a multi-mod that moves a thread and adds a reply that looks like this:

CODE
[dohtml]<div class="outsideaccept"><h1>Welcome</h1>
<div class="luck"><span>luck no.</span>
03
</div>
<div class="wrapacctext">Congrats & welcome to Reverence! Be sure to fill out the claims that apply to your character.
<div class="linkhold"><a href="http://reverencerp.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=13">kerrari claims</a> <a href="http://reverencerp.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=12">aiyaiian claims</a><a href="http://reverencerp.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=11">minor houses & honorary claims</a><a href="http://reverencerp.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=9 ">face claims</a></div>
</div>
</div>
[/dohtml]

it works fine right off. but then upon editing it, it changes some of the links to bbcode and erases some of the link text.

when i edit it, this means editing it to change the 'luck number' and change the author to a general head admin account. i'm not sure if it's either of those things that may be causing the issue.

the textinput while editing looks fine, it's only once i save that some of the links disappear, and upon looking into the html it's got url open bbcodes and </a> closing tags and <a href=""> open tags and closing [/url] bbcodes and link text has disappeared, which is just really weird over all.

if there's something i should add to solve this, like open & closing tags in the reply or s/t, that'd be great ! if it's sort of a conundrum, that's ok. i just thought it'd be best to at least bring it to light.

totally cool if this isn't possible.

setting an admin group etc. there are permissions that allow you to create the group as only being able to see and edit certain aspects in the acp. this is a fantastic feature– the only shortcoming seems to be if that staff has access to the member & user groups section, they can simply change their own permissions.

the only option to remedy this is to make the entire section non-viewable for certain staff, but this can be somewhat troublesome when wanting to allow staff to edit member accounts but not wanting them to be able to view the the css or w/e else.

there aren't many things i can think of that would remedy this other than an entirely new section / option to block certain groups from group editing which sounds about impossible.

if anyone knows a way around this that'd be awesome. if not that totally makes sense, because this seems about impossible to implement in any way that i can think off the top of my head.
