So I went to add this to the thread, but I was too slow. I was wondering if at some point in the future the messages sent with items in the store might be reflected in the PM logs? It would be a good work-around for what I'm trying to accomplish, but also just in terms of security it would be helpful. Thanks for reading.

So! My members have just sent a mess of items, including messages, to other accounts. The problem is that those messages are generally PM'd (I think?) and the accounts that got the items do not have access to inboxes. Unfortunately, a lot of time was spent on that and a lot of effort went into it, so I was wondering if there's anything I could do to recover them.
Screenshot included as to what I'm talking about. The members report that they didn't get any error messages or warnings or anything when the message / items were sent through, and the items themselves seem to have arrived.
Edit: The transactions appear in the IBStore Logs, but the messages don't. :/

Sorry, I know this is pretty straight-forward but I can't find it here
and I've spent about fifteen minutes trying to target this specific area, but I'm not as quick on the draw as I used to be (when it comes to trying to use inspect element to grab the info) and I can't remember how to target it. I specifically mean the part I've indicated on the screenshot, and not the page itself if that makes sense.

So back in the day I knew how to do this for some reason, but for some reason now it is completely beyond me. I think it had something to do with parsing URLs to figure it out, but for some reason I just can't get there again. I know it had something to do with knowing what number the skin was, and using <!-- |auth_key| --> to make a link that could just get plugged into a basic HTML link (like <a href="something here that probably ended in the auth key"> click here for our dark skin </a>)
If anyone has any advice they would be saving my bacon.

So I know there's a way to let new accounts buy items and then use those items to sort themselves. That being said, is there any way for them to do this during registration? I'd just cut the middle man and try my luck with requesting it as a feature, but I wouldn't be surprised if I just missed some option and I can switch things around.
The thing about this that's really frustrating is that it's super useful but 10% of my users are never going to understand it no matter how I explain it because it's unconventional so they just sort of shut down around it, and then they can't navigate the forum as intended and get all upset cause they didn't want to read the instructions (most users are lovely, of course, but there's always something). And them being upset means they'e less likely to absorb the repeated instructions, and.. well, you know how it is.
Anyway, thanks for reading and any help would be much appreciated.
