My current forum knowledge is based on Zetaboards, for a forum that serves a very small group. I change the background color and the logo image there seasonally, sometimes monthly.

I have poked around here and figured out how to delete the standard logo that Jcink provided when I set up The Attic, but now how to replace it with an image.

If I wanted to use this image as our logo, how do I accomplish that? Do I need to alter sizing first? I uploaded this same image from my hard drive to file manager here but still wasn't successful.

Second to changing logos seasonally, I've been used to editing CSS to choose a complimentary color for the logo. I'm not interested in changing skins, I'm just wondering if I can still easily change the background.

I appreciate the quick response time and the demeanor of all who post here.

I am new to Jcink, just beginning to set up a board for a small group that currently posts on Zetaboards. I'm self-taught when it comes to forums which means I have learned what works for my needs but can't say I am proficient in all parts of the Admin panel.

On Zeta and earlier boards, I was able to upload emoticons from my hard drive. The suggested host mentioned here is ImageShack but that is no longer a free service. I've attempted to upload an image from TinyPic without success. I don't know if I am choosing the wrong link or if it something else. The options are
1. HTML, beginning with <a href="http://tinypic.com
2. IMG code for Forums and MB, beginning with [IMG]http://i67.tinypic.com
3. Direct link for Layouts, beginning with http://i67.tinypic.com

I appreciate any advice on this.
