So, I know you can change the background colour of the advertisement container by styling row4, but I was wondering, since John is constantly adding new CSS classes to work with the HTML templates, if one could be made for the ad container? Or if the row4 could just be removed from it so it's a teeny tiny little advertisement that can just sit there and look ugly all on its own until I decide to buck up and pay for premium?

I'm currently working on a skin where the row4 background colour would clash with the board header area, and I just want it to be seamless and beautiful and it's not and my OCD is making me cry ):

I'm sure javascript could do something to change it but I literally do not want to a.) deal w/ that or b.) violate ToS for ~aesthetics.

hi hello, I'm having a little teeny tiny issue.

i'm trying to use a click toggle on my miniprofile code, and it works great on JSFiddle. It's beautiful even. see? (that's got all my codes there, with filler info since the jcink fields don't carry over to other sites c; )

what i didn't expect is when i popped it into my site, was for all of the miniprofiles to toggle when i clicked the button.

i moved the jquery around, to the top of the wrappers, to the bottom of the wrappers, and even into the miniprofile HTML template area (where it had some success before eventually telling me 'no')

HERE is my board, and everything should be visible to guests.

is there a work around for this issue, or am i going to have to make it an over-done hover?

thanks!!

i've been trying to get this to work for about two days now, and i'm absolutely at my wits end.

THIS is the code I'm trying to get to work. It works just fine on the code pen. It works just fine on a regular web page. I'm stumped as to how to get it to work on Jcink.

I've tried removing everything I possibly could from the wrappers that would cause it not to work, I've tried four different codes. I've copied and pasted every last little bit of CSS, jquery, and HTML to try and get this work and I haven't been successful, yet.

here is my board.

here are my wrappers stripped down to the bare bones.

i can paste the style sheet if you need that, too. but the bits i copied from the compiled codepen are the exact same. i haven't really changed anything else.

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hey, I know this has happened to a lot of boards recently.
But my board http://wilderland.b1.jcink.com/ has been deleted, but I had logged in within the last few weeks? I was just about to reskin it, and I don't know if I made a back up. I was going to re-register it, but there were a loooot of forums, and if at all possible, i did not want to remake them.

I don't know if I or any of my other admins did a back-up, but I'm hoping something can be done?

Hi it's me again. I was wondering if something like this would be possible:

You know how with member groups, it allows you to add a bit of coding before and after to change the way the groups look on the online list (and other parts of the board, if you're feeling frisky).

Would it be possible to apply this to the forum descriptions, in a global kind of manner? A spot in the ACP to apply the pre-fix and suffix, maybe? I don't know if it's at all possible, because the more I think about it, the more coding intensive it gets, but I thought I'd ask, anyway.
