| Is there any interest in video tutorials for JFH? In the past year or two because of my hobby, I have become good enough to produce quality videos (so has Crystal). Video editors are not a foreign thing to me as they once were. With the HTML Templates Sets being released, I was considering actually making a video and uploading it to YouTube to show how they can be morphed to new users. The only thing I'd need is a good microphone but beyond that all of the equipment is there.
So would you like to see video tutorials for JFH-related things, and if so, what type of videos would interest you the most? Or is video too ridiculous for what can be found by just reading the wiki for most things.

| Would be very helpful, and I'm kinda curious to hear your voice.
I'd suggest a video showing how to convert CFS, since it's a very recurring topic.

| Visual and audio learning is a good thing for many people who want help learning new things. Also, making videos is a good way to go especially since lots of people share videos more than text it might be easier to share a video for users than it is to copy/paste/format a wall of text. It could be something that is posted at the top of a new staff thread for larger sites than it is to link them to the wiki.
That said people who use forums and especially manage forums are probably a lot more used to reading things to get information. I am fine following step by step directions or just reading in general when I want to learn how to do something. On top of that, it is easier to stop reading than it is to start and stop a video.
More importantly, this tutorial happens after the post templates right?
You're not missing much

This would be the first video, and it's actually why I even started to think about this topic.
I used to hate my voice as well in videos, but I've gotten over it and it's not like it was.
This is my personal youtube for the ever curious:
This video stuff is not a priority at all, just an idea I'm tossing out here in the feedback forum.

|OH! If you're going to replace a video, start with the one on the homepage first.|

That will require significantly more skill that I do not possess. We will probably be removing that video as it is too outdated looking now. However, this is about tutorial videos, which are much easier to produce

| 1. His voice is wonderful GMaster479
2. It would probably be my voice in most videos as I have our voice over microphone and software at home and John is usually at school except during the Winter/Summer Breaks...my voice is nothing special either if you find my nail polish art videos you can see this. :/
3. There is no 3 but only 2 points looks dumb so here it is, go paint pumpkins people. .

Slightly less horrendous. I approve

>_< You only say that because I don't have the Jersey accent John has.

John has an awfully nasally voice coupled with a Jersey accent. It sounded so nerdy when I first heard it. In either case, I want this to happen. If you do the tutorials then John can (finally) do the HTML post templates.

I would VERY MUCH be interested in that tutorial.

|'ey don't knock the jersey accent.|

This is true, though it has deepened some in the last year or so, but yeah. I remember the first time we all got on Skype and I asked him to say New Jersey four or five times because of the accent and how he said it. >_< Oy vey.

|I've been wondering about the templates, videos with examples and step by step would be great. I'm more of visual person.|

| This would be a great help!
I pick up things a lot easier with visual tutorials and I'm dying to try out the HTML Templates, I just find the text guides a little overwhelming.

|That would be awesome. Really. I like learning when I'm hearing and seeing. It keeps it in my memories longer.|

|I'm a visual and hands-on learner as well -- even though I can still learn quickly from text. Different options are always good!|
