Whoops, sorry. I misnamed it, I am referring to "Member Notes". On the ACP there s a section under System Settings -> User Profiles that asks "Enable member notes in profile for moderators?" I was wondering if a variable could be made to make member notes accessible on a main profile that has been customized via HTML Templates?

Was the points variable for board statistics ever fixed? I'm trying to use it and I have the setting enabled to show it, but then it doesn't display. https://x.jcink.net

Don't think so -- one of the last remaining reasons this thread isn't closed. I'll see if I can patch it up this weekend.

Doubtful that will get done this weekend, but yes, the json values for those are also the reason why this remains open.

I'm in summer session also at this time, building an application with nodejs, but should be able to get the variables working.

I'm fairly certain I know the answer to the question, but I figure I should ask regardless.

When modifying the main profile template, will omission of specific entry fields affect the field's appearance in the profile editor? If not, like I'm assuming, I imagine there are no plans for altering the editor?

Not sure I follow, sorry. You can omit any fields you want when modifying the main profile template. It won't change the profile editor -- ie, "My Controls."

There are no plans for changing the profile editor, but you can already hide any of the fields that you aren't using. For example, if you don't want, say, the profile "Website" field, hide it using #field-website { display: none; } in CSS.

I'd rephrase my questions but you actually answered whatever I needed to know! Much appreciated, John!

I just realized, I do have a request for variables for the topic list html template.

In the forum row, there's this variable: <!-- |class_new_post| -->

I would like one for the topic list as well, because I changed the border color of a forum when there's a new post, and would like to do the same for individual topics in the topic list view. If possible?

EDIT: Also just noticed, but that variable for class new post does not work on sub-forums in a forum.

Would love if the post templates carried over into the PM screen! like with the miniprofiles etc

I will fix this.

This will not happen, but there will probably be a PM template option in the future.

Hey! So, I'm trying to make it so that users can have their own links in the upper left corner of the forum on each page, and doing it using custom profile fields just results in a link like this
CODE
http://fpn.jcink.net/%3C!--%20field_14%7C%20--%3E

I'm pretty sure I've done this in the past, and I can use the links for other things in the MP and such, so I was hoping I'd be able to do the same in this instance.

Please make a new support thread on that as it will be easier to help you there. This thread is just for reporting bugs/suggestions/etc regarding the HTML Template System at this point and not for template support.
