I'm using a custom bbcode which is basically a background image for the text of the post to sit on. Sometimes when I edit a post that has color and font size coding throughout, a [/color] will have changed itself to a [/size] completely messing up the post and it has to be edited back.

The custom bbcode is:

CODE
<span class="(PARAM1)">(PARAM2)</span>

In my CSS I have several "class" styles that can be implemented, but it's basically just stipulating background image, some padding of the text and stuff. A CSS example:

CODE
.classname {
background-image:url(imgurl);
display:block;
padding-top:5px;
}

I don't know if the bbcode is to blame as I do remember this sort of bug back on InvisionFree years ago in normal posts but open to suggestions?

So I had a member PM me saying they keep getting an error saying a post they're trying to make contains too much bbcode. Is there a setting I've missed somewhere? This is the first I've heard of such an error from my members, all of whom make lengthy posts.

So, I've been using two great custom codes by Cory at jCodes (bbcode in topic titles and topic icons), two codes I used for years on Zetaboards to great enjoyment of my members. Now I've brought my community to jcink we of course want to continue using these great codes but we've run into an issue that I believe that can only be helped on the "back-end". Both these codes work flawlessly on the index page and within a forum but when it comes to subforums...topic titles are being cut off, rather than showing the full title, thus breaking the codes.

Cory suggested I mention this, hoping maybe there can be some kind of "fix", what do you think John?

Now I mention it, I seem to remember mentioning a similar issue a few months ago with a topic title related code and you saying a fix could maybe be applied on a board-by-board basis kind of thing, is this possible? It'd be such a big help if so.

So I'm having some alignment issues (mainly because I'm still a noob) I want to center the forum names/descriptions on the index page, I managed that but it has also (what I don't want) centered the topic lists within forums. How do I keep those aligned left?

Can anyone point me in the right direction how to add these? Like what exactly should be in the html conversion. Nothing I try seems to be working
