hey friends!

we have a bit of a glitch on our site that only seems to be affecting the new accounts in the last few weeks, and I'm not sure why it's suddenly started to happen. No settings have been changed in about 6 months haha.

Basically whenever anyone posts, instead of getting 1 post in their count they get -1 posts. We've had to go in and manually change the post counts and even after that the posts don't go up - they just stay on the number we had to change them to.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I've checked all the settings for each forum and member group and like i said, nothing has been changed since we opened the site and it only affects new accounts!

thanks in advance c:

our site is: milkshake!

so normally you can throw the css from templates into the skin's css and it's lovely and convenient but somehow it's not been working that way for me the last few days. it will LOOK like it works, and then like five minutes later the code is all broken.

for example this wonderful mess:

that's not my code but even the codes that I've done it's been forgetting as well: (that's meant to have a little border around it)

it's a brand new board so I'm not sure if I've forgotten to flip a setting but it doesn't make sense to me at all. it's like the css I've added isn't being read properly at all

hey guys! so one of my admin on our board made an announcement but the link she gave directs everyone RIGHT to the admin cp. they don't have to log in, it;s all right there for them.

she's set the board offline for the moment while we scramble to fix this. it's been sent as a mass pm to all the members, is there a way to delete those pms?

argh this is intense lol, please help!

edited to add:
okay well we sort of fixed it in a round-a-bout way by deleting the admin's account. all the pm's vanished (and any email notifications people may have got vanished also)

is there an alternative fix we could have done for this?
