How can I disable the shortening of topic titles? Already tried marking "Stop URL shortening?" as yes and editing "Topic title lengths?" to 100.

Example:

How can I do it? Any ideas? Just tried the ::first-letter selector, but it hides the @ AND the first letter.

Edit: For example: Luciela Branstoker is selected as "uciela Branstoker".

I'd like to add an individual banner for each forum/subforum, giving the aspect of individual skins, but I don't want to create a skin for each one, so I've tried adding a <!-- |forum_id| --> to the id of the banner div, but looks like it doesn't work (shows a raw <div id="banner<!-- |forum_id| -->">). Is there another variable that could do the trick?

I'm trying to achieve something like:

/index.php?showforum=1 = <div id="banner1">
/index.php?showforum=9 = <div id="banner9">
/index.php?showforum=22 = <div id="banner22">
/index.php?showtopic=1 (topic from forum 1) = <div id="banner1">
/index.php?showtopic=87 (topic from forum 9) = <div id="banner9">

CSS would be a background-image for each id:

#banner1 { background-image: (url of banner1); }
#banner9 { background-image: (url of banner9); }
#banner22 { background-image: (url of banner22); }

Edit: more info.

Is it possible? If yes, how?

I'd like to show the user's own stats in the index, and I know that it's possible to show his name, avatar and user id there, but the stats that I want to show are custom fields.

Now it returns a blank value and scripts like <script>if("<!-- |field_3| -->" == "N/A") { document.write("Something");}else{ document.write("<!-- |field_3| -->");}</script> aren't working.
