IP Address Change - Domain Names

If you have a domain name for your board, and are not using CNAME records (which you should be) to be automatically updated, please be advised that you must change it to: 199.59.160.249

The old IP, 199.59.166.212, is being retired since the cloud server it's on has been having some stability issues in favor of a move to a dedicated system.

How do I know if I need to change it?

Log into Admin CP, go to "System Settings -> [url=http://jcink.com/main/wiki/jfb-acp-system-settings-domain-manager]Domain Control Center[/URL] If it reads OK, then you do not need to do anything. If it says "BROKE", then you'll need to update your records. As a secondary measure, go to http://cachecheck.opendns.com/ and enter your domain name - if your domain is showing up with the old IP, you need to update.

Update: I have arranged to leave the old IP address online for a while, but you should switch from it immediately.

Know if you need to do anything by checking the Admin CP as well as http://cachecheck.opendns.com/ - if your domain is showing up with the old IP, you have to log into your domain provider and change this manually.

Please note, this is the last week that you have to make this change if you have not already - after that the IP will be shut down.

The old IP will be going offline in 24 hours, much longer than I'd originally anticipated. So if you have not moved now is your last chance.
