Okay so - on my site the links in that template are supposed to auto change to white. As a guest yes - it does that. But the moment I sign in the gd things turn freakin red like main links on the site. Going to just wrap code / css directly related to the site temp that screws up

CODE
.p-c-1a { width: 550px; padding: 10px; background-color: #1a1a1a; }
.p-c-1a a:link { font-weight: 800; color: #ffffff; }

any idea why the css is failing at changing the link colors in the css? It is all in the css of the skin too... I have continually had this issue on layouts so I need to know wtf is wrong because on some it has no problem. Others it has this stupid tantrum and makes a very grumpy alygator

Do you mean that links turn red after you click on them and wont stay white? Sorry, it's a bit confusing. If this is what you mean...

CODE

/****************************************
 Link colors
*****************************************/

a:link, a:visited, a:active {
text-decoration: none;
color: #b12525;
}
a:hover {
color: fff;
text-decoration: none;
}

Your'e telling it to be red, right here.

a:visited

this mean, once you've been to that link before, turn it red.

a:link, a:visited, a:active {

a:hover {

As mentioned above the visited area in this is red, in addition to this in the template coding I am assuming that is above, there is no visited colors specified you do have active and hover, but not visited.

You need to add the following to the CSS and specify the color for it:

CODE

.p-c-1cb2 .a:visited { font-weight: 800; color: #; }
.p-c-1cb1 a:visited { font-weight: 800; color: #; }

CODE
.p-c-1cb2 .a:link { font-weight: 800; color: #ffffff; }
.p-c-1cb2 .a:hover { font-weight: 800; color: #8d8d8d; }
.p-c-1cb1 a:link { font-weight: 800; color: #ffffff; }
.p-c-1cb1 a:hover { font-weight: 800; color: #8d8d8d; }

Like Crystal said, there's no override for a:visited here, so it's going to the default link color for a:visited specified ... which is #b12525.
