Hi, first off, a little disclaimer: I'm not super familiar with coding but I did try to find a solution online and I have no idea why it's not showing up right.
Basically, my membergroup colours don't show up when I do the @username tag. They show up fine in the memberlist so I don't know why the colours don't show up if I tag them?
So yes, flailing around here and struggling with this coding problem. Help will be greatly appreciated.

They adapt to the color you have set for links. I'm not even sure you can set it without some CSS added

Ah, I see! Thank you for clarifying. I've seen some boards though where tagging someone reflects that character's membergroup. I suppose they might be using custom css for that?

This will explain how to apply the necessary CSS, look under "Group Tag Customization"

Thank you so much! Honestly, I've been looking for a solution to this but somehow never came across that guide.
One more thing: I've seen on some boards where the "@" symbol doesn't show up when tagging. How can I apply that to my board?

Admin CP -> System Settings -> General Configuration -> Remove the @ character after tagging? set to 'Yes'
