 Application Form Script(web Page) [SOLVED] , That works?
#
Hi all.

So I found Blacks Application form for PM or for Post. I also see it no longer works.

Do we have a fix for this, a new template for this?

I have only seen two threads in my search that refer to this code at all.

And they focus on the PM section more than the Post to Forum section.

I would REALLY like to see this up and running---

or be let in on the fix.

Thanks so Much

Black's code is a third party code meaning we don't actually provide updates for it or have the ability to fix any scripts in the code hosted by Black. To request an update or a fix you would need to reach out to the original creator for it as like I mentioned any scripts they host we don't have access to. There are a ton of codes like that and unfortunately at this time and application system is not a base feature.

If it is one you would like to see you can always feel free to post in the Feature Requests forum and it can be considered for future feature updates.

I haven't tried this script but I wonder why it doesn't work now. Can you link me to a page where you're using it with your included edits? I'll take a stab at seeing if I know what's wrong.

Crystal Thank you.

I will place a request as you suggest because it would be a great feature for many RP and other communities.

John

Hey thank you for taking a moment to look at this. I really appreciate ALL the help form EVERYONE here and at other resource sites.

I am by far not a master here in the script/code world but slowly learning by trail and fire. What I had done was cut/paste and changed the "name of topic" and the "numerical forum" to be posted.

Name: testing
Forum Value: 27 (Pending completed applications)

The forum is set to accept DOHTML.

I made no other edits just testing to see if the code would work.

Now I was wondering if the [<script*>] was supposed to go in my wrapper?

Or stay as whole for the actual page. And no I had not tried that. As the page seemed to "submit" properly. It just is not posting to the site. Or if it is I have no idea where. None of my forums seem to show a "new post".

In "Web Page maker" I made sure web pages were "online" and that the "key" was placed in the board wrapper.
In my "page" I also made sure that it was "Application" and key "app_form" and that the key is allowed to be used in the Board wrapper.

This is the Web Page: http://lrs.jcink.net/index.php?act=Pages&pid=1

This is the code:
CODE

  <style>
  label { display:block; margin:0 0 5px; vertical-align:baseline; }
  label strong { display:inline-block; width:350px; }
  label input, label select, label textarea { width:298px; padding:3px; border:1px solid #989898; }
