 Custom Post Row Template Issues
#
Hiya! I'm trying to code a custom post row template that works with my existing mini-profile, and have run into a few problems that I cannot solve on my own.

First, the Awards are not showing up in the awards slot. I've enabled them in the Admin CP, have used the <!-- |awards| --> code where I'd like them to appear, and have added a few test awards, but they will not appear.

Second, for some reason the coding seems to be messing with this code: <!-- |status| --> It has been removed from the mini-profile entirely, and I'm not sure why.

And, finally, this post details pop-up will not work in the custom post row template coding: user posted image

The overall template on my test site here seems to be the same as on my live site here, but it's not quite working the way I'd like it to.

If it helps, here's the code I wrote for the custom post-row.

CODE
   <table width='100%' border='0' cellspacing='1' cellpadding='3'>
   <tr>
     <td valign='middle' class='row4' width="1%"></td>
       <td class='row4' valign='top' width="99%">

       <!-- POSTED DATE DIV -->

       <div align='left' class='row4' style='float:left; padding-top:4px; padding-bottom:4px;'>
       &nbsp;<span class='postdetails'><b><a name='entry<!-- |pid| -->'></a><a href="<!-- |permalink| -->" style="text-decoration:underline">Posted:</a></b> <!-- |post_date| --> </span>
       </div>

       <!-- REPORT / DELETE / EDIT / QUOTE DIV -->

       <div align='right' class='post-buttons-top'>
       <!-- |report_link| --> <!-- |delete_button| --> <!-- |edit_button| --> <!-- |quote_button| -->
     </div>

     </td>
   </tr>
   <tr>
     <td valign='top' class='post2 miniprofile'>
       <span class='postdetails'>
        <!-- |mini_profile| -->
</span>
     </td>
     <td width='100%' valign='top' class='post2' id='<!-- |pid| -->' colspan='2'>
<div id="pid_<!-- |pid| -->"><!-- THE POST <!-- |pid| --> --><div class='postcolor'><!-- |post| --><!-- THE POST --></div><br><img src="http://files.jcink.net/uploads/clockworkdaydreams/3beec48f-Divider_Sig_2_2.png"><p></p><div class='bottombox'><div class="signaturebox"><img src="<!-- |field_50| -->"><!-- THE POST --></div><div class='awardsbox' style='padding-left: 5px;'><b><u>AWARDS</U></B><BR><!-- |awards| --></div></div><!-- |signature| --></div></div>      </td>
   </tr>
   <tr>
     <td class='darkrow3' align='left'><span class='ip_address'><b><!-- |ip_address| --></b></span></td>
     <td class='darkrow3' nowrap="nowrap" align='left' colspan='2'>

       <!-- PM / EMAIL / WWW / MSGR -->

       <div align='left' class='darkrow3 post-buttons-bottom' style='float:left;width:auto'>
       <!-- |pm| --><!-- |email| --><!-- |website| --><!-- |aim| --><!-- |yahoo| --><!-- |gtalk| --><!-- |msn| -->

       </div>

       <!-- REPORT / UP -->

       <div align='right'>
        <a href='javascript:scroll(0,0);'>^</a>
       </div>
     </td>
   </tr>
   </table>

I'm sure it's a mess because I was just experimenting to see if I could get it to work so if anyone can help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've spent the past three months, off-and-on, trying to get this to work the way I'd like, and I've been struggling with it so I'm hoping someone here can help.

I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks in advance!

I believe the awards variable only works in (mini) profiles.

Where is the status suppose to be appearing?

Change this:

CODE
<a href="<!-- |permalink| -->" style="text-decoration:underline">Posted:</a>

To this:

CODE
<a href="#" onclick="link_to_post(<!-- |pid| -->); return false;" title="permalink" style="text-decoration:underline">Posted:</a>

<!-- |awards| --> is a mini profile variable only. If you really need it in the post rows, there is a work around.

About <!-- |status| --> -- check the setting Admin CP > Topics, Posts & Polls > Show online/offline status in post make sure it's set to 'yes', this should light up the variable.

Thanks very much!  I'd written something like this before, but I must've left something out because I could never get it to work.  Yours works perfectly.  http://files.b1.jcink.com/html/emoticons/happy.gif

Ugh. -face palm- I feel quite silly now. I didn't realise I had that turned off on my test site. >.<

And, if you have a workaround for the awards, John, I would very much appreciate it because that's specifically where we want them to show up. http://files.b1.jcink.com/html/emoticons/happy.gif

Thank you both! I really appreciate your help. http://files.b1.jcink.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
