Ok, trying to convert a skin template over.

main board: http://spnwtf.jcink.net/index.php?act=idx Converted to HTML templates

test board: http://kryslatest.jcink.net/index.php? Still CFS.

The index piece seemed to go well. Having a bit of trouble with the stats.

1. The alignment is off. Lower left box in STATS section, registered users the border line should be underneath the words but they are going though them. It uses the same class as the others "riderfonttwo" so not sure why it's not aligning correctly.

2. How do I convert the sort by "Last Click" and "Member Name" links. When it converted it changed them to NULL.

The old variables were:

CODE
{%sort#activity}
{%sort#username}

The new variable says:

CODE
<!-- |list_links| -->

Which puts both the links together. Can you not separate them into two separate links like before?

Screen Shot of CORRECT way it should look coded with CFS on TEST SITE

Screen Shot of SKEWED alignment on MAIN SITE with system converted NULL variable

Screen Shot of even more SKEWED alignment and links on MAIN SITE with new variable inserted

I have seen this problem before on boards and I think there is a fix for it out there some where?

I didn't provide a link because they removed the sub-sub boards for a temp fix.

If you have multiple sub forums, meaning you have to drill down several levels to get to deeper forums.

MAIN PAGE LINK to Parent forum

PARENT FORUM LINK to Child Level 1 forum

CHILD LEVEL 1 LINK to Child Level 2 forum

CHILD LEVEL 2 LINK

ETC...

It seems that if there are posts in those child level forums, they don't show up on the parent forum page with the proper information in the post section:

PARENT FORUM LEVEL:

X TOPICS | X REPLIES
NAME OF THREAD
TIME/DATE INFO BY
AUTHOR NAME

Even though there may be a post (or multiple posts) it still says 0 topics and 0 replies at the middle level (not the main page).

It also seems that this isn't consistent as there are some sub-sub forums that seem like their posts register ok at the parent forum level.

Is there a code or a setting that is needed to fix this?

I hope I'm explaining this clearly. Thanks for any help.

I know there is a code out there for this but I can't seemed to find it.

http://glycerine.jcink.net/index.php?showuser=2

It's a code to remove the ( that shows up in the custom profile with the status offline.

Like is shows up (offline .

Also... converting over to custom html will that take care of that problem as well or will a code still be needed to clip that ( out.

If anyone can point me to the code, that would be great,

Thanks.

I feel like such a pest sometimes. But, i can't figure this out.

I want to make it so that the sidebar/cbox doesn't overlap the actual forum when someone with a smaller screen looks at it or if you zoom in. You know what I mean?

Like I have done it on this test board here:

http://jennzskins2.jcink.net/index.php?

http://beatthedevilstattoo.jcink.net/index.php?act=idx

and I know it has something to do with making the position fixed... but on the glycerine site I can't figure out which container to put that on to do it. Or maybe I'm just losing my mind and it can't be done on that skin.

If you don't know what I mean use the zoom feature on your browser and watch how the cbox/sidebars reacted. On the first linked board the cbox gets closer to the forum and then overlaps it so you can't see things. The other two boards it never does it just moves the whole board to the right .

I'm trying t use this premade skin. It has custom user links. I really like them but one of the problems is that the admin cp and mod cp are always visible no matter what kind of user you log into. Except for guest, it doesn't show up there.

I know there is a way to make it so that it only shows up for people who are allowed access to those pieces. But, I can't figure out how to do it.

Help, please?

Thanks in advance.
